wyoming, 2005
One laminated map, carefully coded by its previous owner, indicated Wal-mart locations, public bathrooms, and dumps throughout the state of Wyoming. Five days in an RV following the map like a treasure hunt. The combination of efficient travel, living space, and institutional support of such a lifestyle creating an ideal microcosm of American life today—everything under one roof (an RV, Wal-mart) and all the crap that results (dumps, bathrooms, Wal-marts).
